WebPlease do strip your IP of course I don't want that. I just need to be able to see the difference in latency between connections. I already suspect FTTP latency to be very minimal. My FTTC connection regularly has 20-30ms ping sadly with frequent packet drops. WebDec 31, 2024 · @meazz1 If you want to block ping, uncheck ONLY "Allow-Ping" and save. By Default the router will reply by telling the external source "I am not accepting pings". You likely want to set the firewall to drop unsolicited connections by setting "WAN Input" to drop under "Firewall-> General settings-> Zones".
