A 351w should be somewhere around 8.150" +/- .200 so normal should be 7.9 to 8.3 depending on heads, deck milling, head gaskets. Sometimes with retro fitting roller cams you will run as small as 7.700" but 7.3" is almost 1/2" difference. So, you just count the number of turns you've lengthened it from the standard length, multiply by 0.050" and add that to the 'base' length of that particular length checker.
